What do you recommend we bring with us to combat the blood suckers and biters?

on the lake its stable flies on calm days..no skeeters unless your on land tenting in a marsh... wear socks for stable flies that's all.

If it's windy you don't have to worry about the bugs but if it's calm you'll have to put up with the stable flys. Off Skintastic works good on keeping them away. If you are fishing in the channels of the St. Clair River at night then the skeeters will eat you alive.
