| This is the first summer I have been running this motor. I only get out once every week or two. My question is should be it using enough oil for me to easily see the level in the larger tank in the boat going down with this much use? The tank in the motor is always full which is how it is supposed to be but I cant tell even with marking the tank if it is using from the big tank.. I want to know if there is a way to know for sure the engine is receiving oil. The motor has been running great, it alarms occasionally which I think is more related to overheating based on when it happened. Can you disconnect the tank inside the motor from the larger reservoir and run it to see if it is using? Or will that cause issues with having to bleed the line when you hook it back up? Any advice? | |
