| I'm new to fishing and I just purchased a minn kota power drive v2 from bass pro shop. It seems to be working fine but when I deploy the motor in the water it will not lock in place. It appears that the locking pin will not go in place and may need to be adjusted. But I see no way to adjust it. Anyone have any suggestions. |

if you take off the right side plate you should be able to follow the linkage from the lock release lever to the locking bar to hold the motor down. my bet is there is a missing push nut that holds the linkage together...

Location: In a shack in the woods | My older style powerdrive would do that sometimes. If I would push the release button again it would slip into place and lock. |
