Location: Lafayette, IN | I know a dozen anglers or so that would like to have a fishing boat worth the cost of that BEAST! Back in 76, our family had a 16' Hydrosport with a 115 Merc. Tall and Black. We called it "Joe Barry" (Joe Barry Carrol). Looks a lot different than this one though!

Location: Lafayette, IN | muskyone, I didn't have anything to say about the way the rig was set up. I was only 14 when this pic was taken. Sure loved fishing with my uncles in it though! Ran 65 empty! We though that was pretty quick in 76!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | TM, The real speed from the boat I ran this fall with a 225 EFI was 62, GPS and radar gun. I expect to run lighter, as I am not carrying the same load, and alittle further forward in the boat as a result of the new liner. Those two things should cancel each other out. Add the Opti 250 XS Racing Motor with it's incredible punch, and I figure upper 60's with the load I carry. We will see... |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I wouldn't know what an upper 60s rig is but man it would be fun to actualy travel to far away spots in 8 minutes versus 15. :-) Chit I could cover my entire territory in under an hour and faster then by truck. Then again if I had such of a rocket I may expand my territotry further each way. LOL I know of a couple of small areas that I would visit more often. Maybe if I could rig my boat with a 150 Opti I can get in the 50s. LOL

Location: In the slop! | Bass and Walleye boats did a test on 250 hp outbaords in their last issue. The 250 xs did very well in every catagory, as well as looking great. If you have never read the magizine, you should check it out. There is a ton of info in there, I just wish they would throw us muskie guys a bone once in a while. Good luck with the new rig Steve, Mike Jensen. |
