| A local highschooler was fished out of the river today. He went through the ice last evening - became disoriented in the fog and wandered from safe(?) ice toward the main current. Very, very sad. Please be careful if you are going out, and give your kids an extra hug as you tuck them in tonight. | |

Location: northern, MN | i don't think a couple of fish are worth riskin your life over, here in MN we have plenty of ice out on the main parts of lakes but with temps like today, near 70's the ice around shore is starting to get pretty crappy. | |
