| My father and I will be taking our boat up from Iowa in August to our dealership in the twin cities to have some work done, We want to make a long weekend out of it, come up on a Friday get our stuff done in the morning, Fish Friday, Sat, sun, Drive home Monday.
We had thought of trying out Millacs but have never fished it so I thought I would see if anyone had some suggestions for a resort/lake that would be a fun new place to fish and nice place to stay. Shooting for something within 2 to 2.5 hours from the cities.
Decent walleye fishery would be a plus incase the water gets to hot. Thanks for your input!!

| I would suggest the St. Croix River. Launch south of 94 and there are some good spots. Lots of walleye and every other species if the water gets warm. Not sure of any lodging besides hotels though. | |
