Location: Grand Forks ND | Bought a Glideraider and used it last weekend and was having some problems working the bait. First, I really like the weight and I like the way it just hangs there in the water. The problem I was having is that the bait would pop up and out of the water if I didn't work it super, super slow. I wasn't using a wire leader, so perhaps that would solve the problem right there. I'll try that next time, just wondering how other people are working this bait. |

Location: oswego, il | It is a slow bait to work by comparison to other gliders. Does hang nice in the water and it will pop the surface, which I dont think is really a bad thing, when worked faster. In order for the bait to work deeper and faster it would need a narrower profile than it has but the bait was designed to be as it is. |

| I haven't used one yet, but I wonder if a weighted leader would help? Stealth Tackle makes 1/2, 3/4, and 1 oz, might be worth a shot. |

| Nothing wrong with a glider that pops out of the water. Actually, I prefer the ones I can get to jump on command. |

| Not the best river glider. By the time you get it in the strike zone. It pops up or the currant washes it down stream. |

| Same thing happens to me with 4" phantoms as far as popping out of the water. I'm guessing slowing down and downsizing rod and line weight may help? |
