Heading down to Ky Friday night for about 9 days of fishing.

Hopefully the fish will have moved up on the flats or on the outer edge of the timber by the time I get down there.

Twitch baits, gliders and Rat-L-Traps on the menu, for now. But I am sure a Bulldawg and Suick will make an appearance for a while too!

Possibly go'in to the cave. Go'in to look for the warmest water I can find and bounce some plastics around.Back deep in the hollars, northern most parts of the lake. I'll certainly throw some 3d's and crank them down around the timber, then twitch........................twitch...........BANG!!!

I'll be heading out to a local Northern Illinois lake for sure. I have been getting follows but no takers yet. Maybe that will change within the next three days.

Letting the BIG BOYS have Webster. Although, the backwater sounds very promising. Sounds like it could be very crowded. Larry at "YOTB" said he'd been receiving calls as far away as MN from musky anglers coming down for the weekend. My son and I are taking on an obscure lake near there though. Pike should be just off the breaks if the weather stays as is. Maybe see em up shallow if we get some sun. Might slip over to Tippy for a look-see too. Good luck everyone! ("ZOOM ZOOM"  SW!)

Packing and getting the equipment ready for the Cave, can't wait. We are leaving Tuesday morning, taking it easy on the way down. See you there.

Good luck, Murph

Going to try local lake Sunday.  Mainly just to get out,  and try some of the new stuff, and if I'm lucky hook into one.
