Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | Well week 4 is in the books and when you are hot you are hot!!!!!! Lake Tomahawk, Two Sisters, Gilmore, Muskellunge, and Sweeney were options for the evening. Of course another cold front sliding through and weather to boot although the rain held off. Boats scattered out on all lakes but one lake, one team, and one certain technique were the ticket. Brock and Travis boated all 3 fish for the evening with a 34.5, a 43, and a SUPER FAT 48 pushing the 40 pound barrier. The guys established a pattern and are now leaving the field in the dust, looks like a battle for 2nd place at the moment. 48,44,43,35,34.5, in a 8 hour span of league, congrats guys you rock!!!! I will try to get a pic of the 48 on here as you need to see this mutant to believe it. Best of luck to all, Dave |

Location: Madison, WI | I have a dumb question. Do people actually weigh Muskies this big? Or, is that an estimate based on the length & girth? Since you aren't supposed to hold them vertically, I've wondered how experienced musky fisherman weigh fish aside from having a cradle or something similar.

Location: Madison, WI | I suppose you could do that, that's what I was getting at with the cradle. Doesn't seem like it would be very good on the fish to do that in the net. |
