My dad and I are heading up to chautauqua next week for a few days, just wondering if anyone on here fishes it very often. We will be mainly trolling,If any one has any suggestions on good depths or speeds to try I would appreciate any advice.

The whole lake is good. Fish will bite at a variety of speeds so it`s hard to say. Red barred wiley has been productive for me.

Trolling speed 3.5 to 4.0 m.p.h. Tuff Shads, Wiley 5.5 inch Jtd., Legend Perchbbaits, Bakers, Hammers. Fish near the bottom. Watch your fish finder for depths of big hooks in relationship to pods of bait fish and hope its a big window they are feeding for. Do hope you safely release all you get !!
