Kalins 6" Mogambo Grub These work pretty well for the 7.5" phantom but are too big for the 6" and make them a lot harder to work. You can "thin" the tail by trimming the width of it down but I say you're better off going with the actual Phantom replacement tails. MTO, Rollie and Hellen's, and Thorne all have them online; shipping will make them very expensive but maybe you can combine the order with some other baits you "need". Also make sure you super glue the tail on or they will fall off.

| Thanks guys. I know about Phantom's replacement tails, but was just curious if there were any other options (cheaper) that anyone had experimented with that they liked. I am usually too lazy to replace the tails...I just keep fishing without the tail or move on to the next one. However, I only have one left with the tail attached. I guess I will have to go with the Phantom replacement tail. |

Location: Hinckley, Il | Gander Mountain has the perfect replacement tails for the 6", they are the 5" Fat Grub also has salt and scent in them.

| I've been using the Kalin's 5" Lunker grub. Has worked great for me and plenty of colors to choose from. |
