Location: Waukesha, WI | Fishing tonight I had the top 14" of my rod explode luckily not with a fish on the other end. The rod I broke is a Okuma EVX 8'6"xh. The rod has a lifetime warranty, but the shop I bought the rod from no longer carries Okuma rods. Just wondering how I should go about getting my rod replaced. How was the customer service with Okuma. Never over stressed the rod biggest baits that I threw were mag dawgs but that didn't happen often as I have a dedicated rubber rod. |

Location: Hayward, WI | Yup, get in touch with Okuma. I have always received good customer service from them. I'm sure they'll take care of you especially if the rod was under warranty. |

| Had an 8' 6" xxh explode with a 47" er on. Boated and released the fish. Customer service is excellent! $20.00 Check and the section that describes the rod and they mail you a new one. |

Had a similar experience. Had a 46" fish eat on the eight and when I set the hooks back into the fishes mouth the rod snapped. Still boated the fish. I agree that the customer service is excellent. |
