i have the option of fishing opener this weekend in either bemidji on plant or fishing in alex on lobster. looking to catch fish, looking for more action than big fish. whats everyones opinion??? where would everyone go and why???

Lobster in my opinion has the better rep for early season, especially the open water trolling bite. However, with the season opening later than usual and with water temps warmer all the way around than usual, it may not have as big an advantage this year.

I say plant. caught me one on opener there one year. only fished it once. was a shallow catch right near cat tails. 45"r. I know someone got a 57" on Plant last year.
