| I always thought of the 9" Suick as a fall bait.
Do they have their place in the "spring arsenal" as well?

| suicks are my go to bait all year long. play around with the tail by bending the corners down and you can get the suick to do some cool things. i always throw one back on a fish i raised earlier. i really like the newer plastic ones. |

Location: Appleton, WI | There is always a suick on a rod in my boat. I have a rod that is dedicated to just suicks. They get fish from opener to late in the fall. |

Location: Poynette WI. | I love Suicks, last year i raised or caught a fish each outing on a Suick, Now i start with a Suick on every trip and also use it as a throw back bait when using other lures. I use bucktails alot also and are a good searching bait, if they are not hitting my tails then I go back with an all black 9" unweighted Suick. the more you use a suick the better they get, once you get the feel and find your groove while working them year round!! |

Location: Maryland | Love suicks! Have over 20 of them from 4" up to 12 ". My favorite is the 9" weighted black n 9" weighted sucker. Muskies crush them on the pause so use a higher speed too make sure u get in the slack to get that sure hooksets.
Also take a look at the Slow Tease from Hawk Seekers. Same type but a different tail that has the ends bent. Good lure as well but not a suick.
Good Luck n Tight Lines
