The tip on my Sling Blade broke this weekend. It is a model that is around 4 years old, but it is my favorite rod. Does anyone know if St. Croix would do anything or am I SOL?

I believe you get a new one for 50 bucks.

Do you mean the tip itself or did you break a couple of inches off of the rod? If you broke the rod, go here:http://stcroixrods.com/service-warranty/service-warranty-policies/ and use the Gold Star plan. If it's just the tip, either look for a local to repair it or buy a replacement tip from St Croix or local tackle shop and fix it yourself.

Contact them and they will tell you what to do. You get a cheaper shipping rate because you are going through the company. If you lost to much you may want to opt for a rod replacement for a small fee compared to a new rod.
