Just bought a new Humminbird 859 and want to buy a screen protector. Have looked at a couple different brand ranging in price from $5- $20. Was just curious what other people are using and which brand they like the most.

I stopped putting screen protectors on dslr and other devices a few years ago when I realized that the screens were designed to be self-protecting. Screens look really good these days, image quality is incredible, but not so good with even the best protector on it. A few scratches you can't even notice when screen is lit up, and if it starts to get a little too scratched up after 5 years...well, it's an electronic device, short lifespan, sad but true
