| She wanted to go out on the boat, I wanted to fish. She "claimed" she wanted to fish to so we went fishing. It was her first time muskie fishing. I lightly talked about what to do, thinking she wasn't listing to me. After a while she asked why I figure 8 so I elaborated on what to do when a fish shows up. Not long after a shakey voice was saying there's one! She brought the fish into figure 8 five or six times around till it hit and BAM fish in the net!!!! I cant explain how proud I am of her. She said on the way home " I think I get IT now" I think we have one more hooked

| Haha, I like the "shaky voice" part.  When I got a coupe of my friends hooked, their voices would go up a few octaves when a big fish would show behind their bait. Nothing like it...

| That is one of the greatest feelings when you get to watch someone get their first fish! Have had the privilege of seeing it several times now and its never any less exciting for me. Tell her congrats and welcome to the fun, the misery, and the endless carnage it will wreak on her pocket book! |

| That is exciting! My soon to be husband and best friend a guy also were fighting over who took me muskie fishing first! Soooo I let them both take me together.... saw one smash out of the water and miss my best friends bait and then I had this HUGE mamasita follow at time I want ahh ahh ahhh and reeled slow SHE probably would not have been one to bite as lazy but WOW after that walleye or northern fishing nay.... hooked!!!!
Now had a few 40 inchers in the boat still waiting to catch one as big is the first girl I saw... a gift to see her! |
