Need some direction if anyone can provide it... Just put and hds 5 on the console and a 7 on the bow. Networked via the Ethernet cable, depth and map chips are being relayed fine, but I can't get water temp on the bow unit to show up... Anyone have a solution for a guy? Thanks for your time, I appreciate it.

Perhaps it needs to be added through the menu and the overlay function. Youtube "Lowrance HDS overlay".

I was having the same problem - this video helped.

I was able to set each unit to read and display water temp. however every time I shut the unit off - I have to reset the device. Is there a way to save my selections? Or do I have to do this every time out?

utilized edit overlay data, and I have the box set up on the screen for water temp, it's just not registering from the main unit... has to be something simple I am missing.
