Hola,
If one owns a 6501 c3 and wishes to put 65 pound power pro on it using 20 pound test line for backing. how much backing should i use and how much of my spool of 150 yards of 65 pound power pro should i use. also if i put the line on now and use it for a couple of weeks can i still use it next spring??

thanks

Hey drew love the comment.

I usually use about 50-70 yards of mono and then try to fit as much line on after that. Also I am on my 3rd year with power pro and have yet to have a problem, then again I only fish about 30 times a year.

Later

Jim

Drew,if you spool your mono on so there is 3/8" from spool top to backing, then wrap your super line on it will use 1/2 your spool so you can do 2 reels! Jeff
YES,PETA DOES SUCK! []
