Location: Money, PA | Has anyone ever linked an HDS unit to an older LMS series sonar unit to be able to share a transducer through Ethernet? If so, can you please explain the process? My units somehow got disconnected and I forget how to do it in the Menus! |

| For the pre-HDS units that have an Ethernet port, Network Sonar (sharing of 2D ducers) is automatic if the Ethernet-link is active, and there is no way to disable it other than disconnecting the cable. So, since you indicate that it was working before, you likely have a bad Ethernet cable. |

Location: Money, PA | When I initially connected the ethernet cable, it wasn't just automatic...there was some set up procedure that I cannot remember....It had to do with networking. The cable is fine and worked fine before the power went on the units. |

| On the HDS unit, you do have to enable "Network Sonar' in the menu. On the older unit, it is automatic. |
