I purchased the VIO POV camera and I can only get about 1.5 hours of record time on the loop and forward mode. I'm recording at 720. Is there any other way to go about this or do I need to buy a bunch of rechargeable batteries?

Same deal here. I got one for Christmas and first trip out it ate batteries like they weren't even there. I didn't want to be tied down w/ the adapter that hooks to the boat battery so I bought 3 sets of rechargeable. Might get one more set for long days. They seem to last longer than the regular batteries did. I got one set of Energizer w/ a charger and 2 more sets of Rayovac and the Energizer last a big longer but cost a little more. Changing batteries sucks but having rechargeable will be cheaper in the long run and I don't want to be connected to some adapter and hook a monster and have to move around the boat and rip it out in the heat of the moment. I know they make a breakaway cord but if I remember right it was like over $100 just for that.

I use the PowerEx rechargeable 2700 MAH batteries and get 3+ hours out of them.

Use high quality rechargeable batteries. I get about 2.5 hours out of a set.
