| I am planning on making a tackle box out of a Stanley tool box. Does any one have a supply list, plans or pictures of one. I need to make as few trips the the store as I can. Thanks in advance, |

| Yes, the big black tool box you find at Lowes and Home Depot. The use the box and put pieces of vinyl drain pipe inside to hold the baits. I have seen pictures of this box before I thought on this forum, but with all the views and no replies I guess not. It makes a nice water proof box. |

Location: NoDak | I use a plastic tote, I took a few totes over to the downspout and held 25 8 foot tall pieces in each tote till I found one that was snug, and more square, keep in mind water tight may not always be a good thing, I also use a plastic milk crate it holds 25 tubes snug, just figure out how many feet you will need, I like how my bucktails dry out in the milk crate
was thinking about using some spray foam to glue everything together, but if you find the rite size you will be golden, if you have 14 inch tubes and you drop a 6"depthraider in rather than fish it out I can pull that one tube out and grab the lure and just slide the tube back in, also I can change the arrangement of taller and shorter tubes for what I want since there not glued, I found that I can stand on my tote with tall tubes in the center, but tall tubes on the outside hinder the lid from latching, I have my most used lure in tall tubes to prevent snagging the extra replacements I have |

| Take a look at the Special Mate tackle box. Made to hold 45 baits. I got 50 in mine. Baits sit on plastic panels like a filing system. Easy to get to, see and put back. Got rid of my lakeside, flambeaus, etc. Runs around $50 U.S.
check it out here.

It wood (would) be too heavy. If you built one, you might as well bolt it into the boat. |
