A Tiger will most likely have rounded fins that contain spots, and a more "classic golden" set of bars and stripes in combination that are more shimmery than the typical barred or spotted pattern on pure strains.
Your fish...definitely a pure strain fish... Beautiful fish!!

| Never understood the lake X. Everybody knows LSC has the worlds best fishing and the St. Lawrence is the best place for giant fish. Most of the other good trophy waters are known and there are plenty of low pressure waters to choose from as well. The whole world is not going to rush to fish where you got that amazing 46" fish witch is a truestrain by the way. |

Location: one foot over the line | At least you are man enough to admit that you are the jealous type. Any way you slice it, it is a nice fish. Whether a 43 or a 46, who cares? That was not part of the original conversation. Lake "X" is a wonderful body of water that perhaps you will have the opportunity to fish someday.

He is a unique musky fisherman, perhaps too honest for most, but certainly not jealous.... |

| I don`t mean to come off as a Jerk but if you want to keep a secret just keep a secret. Don`t post pictures on a public forum and the black out the background. |

Location: Iowa | Sorry, I am from a state with not a lot of muskies and there are some very distinguishable landmarks in the back ground I don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry knowing about...just my personal preference, don't really appreciate being degraded for it. Thanks for all the comments relating to the original topic folks! |

| I do too and anyone who recognizes the background has been there. I would be more than happy to tell you where I fish. When you say ( I caught it in the mouth) you are telling everyone (Wouldn`t you like to know). However you are rite no need for me to insult your fish. I appolgize for that. |
