| I'm sure I wasn't the first to do this, but with muskies on my mind most of the time, I started doing the muskie pose several years ago when I was successful bagging a spring wild turkey. Last Friday morning I got lucky again (24#er, 9 5/8" beard, 1" spurs) and took the attached selfie. While texting it to friends that a.m. I finally came up with a good name for the pose... the "turskie!" Are any of you doing the "turskie", too?

Location: oswego, il | I am glad to see you holding the bird correctly. So many uneducated turkey hunters still using a vertical by the feet hold even some guys still using a boga grip. Try holding your kid up by their lower lip and run a 400 yard dash while holding your breath! God I hope you didn't troll up this bird! |

| Probably get crucified but the boy just threw his on the ground. I will have to do some education on the proper technique. He was overcome by the 25# double bearded (10.5" and 4") 1" spurred beast and just couldn't keep it off the deck.

| Nothing wrong with that pose, Chad. Congrats to you and your boy! I love turkey hunting. Lauren used the knee pose for the first time this year. It's really easy, as the breast is so soft, it forms around the knee, and holds itself there!
