I am looking to make a creeper, I have a body made out I am just wondering where should the wings be placed, front back middle? Or is making something like this a lot tuning and moving the wings around?

Hey Chadw18, I will post a photo of one of my creeper winged baits. I have the wings forward. Back screw on center and front screw 1/8" below center. I have my wings about a half inch beyond the front of the bait. After mounting them, twist both wings inward slightly so they don't have a prop action and just roll. Also the wings shouldn't go over 45 degrees when fully open. When you tune these do a little at a time and once they work leave them.

That was a great setup description! I could not have said that in two pages or less! Ha Ha I have one creeper with a famous name on it that is about ready to be torn apart. No matter what this thing does not tune up. This is the last try at her then she goes to be re-fitted.
