| Just curious if anyone has experience with the Walmart brand Starting/Cranking battery? Looking for feedback on quality. |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Yes. I got one. 1 yr old, and still great. And, I even forgot to take it inside during this past winter. As brutal as this winter was, I'm surprised it's still ok. |

Location: Watersmeet, Michigan | Although the battery topic has been beaten to death here, I'll jump in and add something to the discussion. I used Walmart batteries in the past and found them to be a reliable product. A couple years ago however, the clerk in automotive, a retired mechanic, told me to go to the local auto supply instead. Walmart's batteries are manufactured by Johnson Services, (makers of Interstate and a host of other brands) which has moved their manufacturing to Mexico. Ever since that move, there have been so many quality issues that Walmart has been forced to lower their warranty to one year. Some users, like Jim, may get a good one, but chances are just a great that you'll get a dud.

Location: Eastern Ontario | So many brands of Batteries are made by Johnson Controls the one from the auto supply likely comes from the same factory. If your vehicle comes from Mexico the battery in your boat might as well. |

Not a mistake to leave it outside. In fact, if it was fully charged when you put the boat up, it's likely in better condition. |
