I have a 200 mercury and I had it out the other day and I can turn right just fine but the I try to turn left my steering wheel will keep slipping and my motor won't turn. I have cable steering. Is this an easy fix and what should I look for? Thanks

Check the cable first to make sure it is OK, then check the steering head gearing.

When in doubt bring it to a professional. Loss of steering at high speed can be very dangerous.
