Me and some friends took a break from school and made the drive down to Kinkaid this weekend. Saturday couldn't have been any nicer with temps around 70.........but no fish. Sunday mornign we get up to realize that we need some long johns and a stocking cap cause it was like 35, figured we would hit the lake again since we were there and at 2:20 my buddy hooked into a fat 38.5". Nothing quite like that sight of that first fish. Now how the heck am I supposed to concentrate on midterms. This was our first trip to Kinkaid, seems like a wonderfull place, water was a little muddy but hell there isnt ice : ). Good luck to all springs almost here.

Thanks for the mini flashback dude! During me short(2 yr.) college career many yrs. ago, we used to load up the old V.W. van and head to the coast for frequent 4 day weekends to surf...some were bummers w/ no waves to speak of, but the weather/babettes made up for the lack of tubes. It took quite a bit of concentration to study once we got back, and I never did get the hang of it, hence the short schooling; even though I was basically dumber 'n a bucket of sand, I had fond memories to think back to on occasion, and now realize that I learned more from the "school of life" than I would have w/ a sheep skin...BUT--stay in school and finish up!:O

Lol Mikie...I was slim and wore a STUPIDMAN cape to class, where I was quickly unmasked...glad to be outa the Animal House way of life now, but the repercussions(sp?) still follow me to this day! Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end...reach out in the darkness, and you might find a friend...I think it's so groovy now, that peeps are finally getting their minds back...
