I've used it for my backing on my reel to my power pro never had a problem and felt pretty darn secure.
I always use this or a uni to uni.

I have used it before, but prefer the uni to uni knot when tying line to line.

I use it on some of my bass/walleye gear with Tyger leader to attach it to my braid when throwing cranks to prevent bite offs.

Me too. I fly fish a lot -pike muskies - and use it to attach my mono leader to knotable wire. Great knot!

For my main muskie gear I use a Dbl. Uni to tie my Power Pro to leaders, "sometimes" a Jack Crawford. Buddy of mine uses the Crawford all the time and always has. Catches lots of nice fish. I just seem more comfy with the extra wraps around my leader swivel.
