Location: Chicago, IL | As soon as we get a nice day for me....Last season it was 63 degrees today and tonight we will set a record low! I'm about 2 more weeks from a nervous breakdown! I watch fishing shows just to see people standing in the boats in water, like it's some impossible feat! Amazing the things that amaze you when you have cabin fever.

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I just saw the forecast for chicagoland ......62 degrees next weekend with rain in the preceding days! If they are actually correct with this forecast (for a change) we might be out on the water the 22nd Phil. I am getting my boat out of storage this weekend with aspirations of fishing without my waders on the 22nd. |

| February 21st was my first day on the water. We were on Lake Kincaid. Didn't catch anything but it sure felt good to be in the boat and casting. |

| I hope to get out this next week; the small 10hp limit lake I fish near here went from being 34' down to over flowing the spillway, and will allow boat launching. I will attempt to hunt down, lure out and hook up the musky I captured 2 yrs. ago; a 26-27" behemoth that should be at least a 30"er by now...lights...cameras...reactions... |

Location: Kawartha Lakes, Ontario | First day on the water this year will be May 10 for walleyes. I can't fish muskies until June 7. The walleye fishing will give me a chance to make sure the boat is ready for some real fish in June.
Keep your hooks sharp. |

If it's that nice this weekend I am definately going to be out after I prep my boat. If the following week is nice I'm sure I'll be out Wednesday & Friday for sure and possibly Monday. God I can't wait!!!!

Location: Woodstock, IL | I'll be out as soon as there is open water on Lake Geneva. Unfortunately, I won't be casting for musky until late May on the Manitowish Chain. Until then, I'll go for panfish, I guess. At least the lines will be wet.
Just picked up the new "Musky Edition" over the weekend and I'm going NUTS! |

Location: oswego, il | After the freezing weather I experienced this weekend, I think we will have open water hopefully by the july 4th weekend. I had an ear feeze and fall off walking from my suburban to the expo and I can't find my left nipple.

| Todd,
Check with the chick at the pizza joint. See if she kept it as a souvenier.
April 12 (Only a month away).

| Normally I would have to wait until June 7 like the rest of Minnesota, but this year my muskie fishing will be delayed until at least June 16 as I will be on a honeymoon in Alaska. Leaving for a honeymoon on muskie opener? That is almost a sin. I think she planned it that way.

Location: Iowa | Hope to be throwing muskie baits by the first of April, give or take a week, in Iowa. Will probably cast a couple before then, but will be in a non-muskie river, but who knows. Gotta try out the new baits ASAP. |
