For those of you who fish the SS Shads, would you suggest the smaller size or the larger 6"? This is the version w/o the rubber tail.

I do the metro area lakes and Vermilion mostly.

Thanks very much,

Jeremy.

We use all sizes of them. This time of year we are using the smallest size almost exclusively. Good baits made by good people. Ever have problems give him a call and send it to him.

5.5 is my favorite. The 4.5 doesn't run as consistent at high speeds.

Thanks for these replies. I already bought the 6 1/2" 'ers and this question came up after some discussion with friends.

Seems I'm going to go back and get a couple 5 1/2" 'ers to go with both larger baits.

Tough problem, I know. Thanks!!

Jeremy.

One of my top producers on metro lakes. If you have not already purchased the baits this weekend would be a good time to do so. Kyle will have a table set up at the Thorne Bros. Spring sale. Free T shirts with each purchase of SS Shads.

I like the action of the 5 1/2" far more than the 6 1/2". Great lure, my buddy caught his 2 biggest on it the 5 1/2". Kyle does great custom colors.

I took my two 6 1/2" ers back and traded for a couple of the 5 1/2" 's...

Thanks for the help boys. The info./optimism will go a long ways towards helping with the inevitable "doldrum times" when I need a bit of mental reinforcing.

Too bad I missed out on the T-shirts, that would've been pretty nice. I'm pretty much tooled-up for this year now, to include a few new HI Suicks.

Thanks much!!
