looking for input hds7gen 2 lss2 bundle ($300.00 rebate) or hds7 touch($200.00 rebate)
From what i have read the Lss2 is built into the Touch, but i would have to buy a $299.00 transducer.
The touch looks to be simpler to navigate thru the features .The touch is a little more expensive ,is it worth it.I have big fingers that arn,t good with little buttons.

Yes, you have it right. StructureScan capabilities built in to the Touch, but you need to buy the transducer. I have never had anyone regret going with the touchscreen interface. I'd say Touch all the way.

I was looking into the same thing. It looks like you can get a bundle with the HDS7 Gen 2 Touch with the LSS-2 for around 1399 . With the rebate it is 1200. Without the bundle you can now get the touch for 1199 and then add on the LSS-2 transducter for 299. So you save 100 with the bundle. It looks like the HDS-7 Gen 2 with LSS-2 bundle is 1299 less 300 rebate so 1000. I guess it comes down to if you want the extra LSS-2 module around your boat. Personally, I think I am going to order the Hds7 touch bundle today.

Not having all the wiring and module for LSS 2 is worth the money for the touch.
