Im just wondering if anyone uses bondy baits in the madison chain, or somewhere near by(hour drive)? I bought one last year and never really find the place to use it. I guess I'm just looking for a place to try it out.

Thanks,

Alex

Lake Monona has plenty of deep water and drop offs. You only need about 12' of water with baitfish balls to effectively use the Bondy. You can also cast the 'Hot Orba' in just about any depth. Might be a little tougher on Waubesa because of the weeds and shallow depth.

Plenty of places on Wauby to use bondy's. Haven't tried them in spring or summer but have been successful in the fall.

They work well in Lakes. I second what Musky_Mike stated - just get off the weed edges get it down and go to work. Monona would set up best in my opinion as well. We did jig a few deeper humps on Waubesa...but no takers when we tried...we found fish SHALLOW that trip. You can cast and work them like a Bulldawg too... they drop quicker, thus work a tad deeper...
