I can view the attachment. Good musky colors... but it come's off a bit like a brown trout around the head/mouth area. In either case, I hope this one went back in the drink after the picture was taken. It's all about CPR!

Looks like a bowfin to me....but I like bowfin, very good in a white wine sauce with crepes.

Looks like an elongated smallmouth to me. Has a tail and not an eel-like tail a bowfin/dogfish has.

OK guys, i guess i deserve it, all the crap i hand out...i thought we did a pretty good job making a musky cake, but i see i can't hold a candle to some your culinary skills. The scan didnt' do it any justice, but it was fun. just thought i'd throw a pic up since the water is still frozen...\

Dude...a fine cake...a fine cake indeed! The fact that you attempted and produced a photo says it all; stuff is created to EAT, not stare at until it grows stale. Look on the bright side...you don't have to scale or fillet the thing to eat it...:O
