| I'm making a chart for Muskie weights and would like to add some record muskie weights.
Feb. of 2013, In fishermen had an article called: "New World Record Muskie". This Muskie was 58" long, 29" girth and weighed 58 pounds.
What about the 1949, 63.5", 31.25 girth which weighed 69 lbs. 11 oz. caught by Louie Spray? I know this is under a lot of criticism, but is it still official? Or is it basically thrown out by the Muskie community?
I may go with the 58 pounder in Michigan as the World Record.
Minnesota State record of 54 pounds (found in the 2014 Minnesota fishing regulation).
Any thoughts or comments?
