Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | I am happy to announce first of all that TomyV will be assisting me in organizing this event, between the limited brain power of his and my minds combined, we have already come up with a number of improvements in the tournament format to make this event better in 2003!
However, the preliminary plans we are making are going to be reliant on the number of teams that we have participating, so please add your name to this thread if you are planning on getting in to the tussle! I will try to constantly update this post to show how many teams are in. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SIGN-UP, but the way we are hoping to run the tourney this year, there will probably be no one who is left out. Also, if we can run it the way we are hoping to, every team will be guranteed at least 2 days of fishing (June and July), instead of the single elimination that we ran last year. ALSO, though I am not going to give out all the details right now, we are coming up with plans that will eliminate the "double blank" advancement issues....not to worry, we are on the case! If you have more suggestions, please put them on Ranger's thread also on the board, otherwise, just use this thread to enter your team name (name and participants, see my example below....all I can say is....BRING IT!!!

| My 10 y/o daughter, Rachel, is my official partner. She fished half of last year's first match with me and she says she really wants to do it a again this season. She's a "good little hook" and she's an ace netter, to boot. Very lucky, too. This year her new rig is a Bantum Curado on a sturdy All Star rod, 80# PowerPro and Dad's homemade leaders. You guys are in trouble.

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | OK- The Muskie Maniacs are in - myself (ESOX Maniac) and Xavier (Fishin' Maniac). May be soliciting substitute partner depending on weather conditions. ESOX Maniac is outfitted w/ a death grip bar on the lefthand seat Xavier is my 4 1/2 year old grandson- Fired up ESOX Maniac on Sunday. Xavier was pumped about going fishin w/ Papa. Stood on the front deck for a solid hour casting at a bucket in the driveway. Ranger- We'll see you & Rachel in the finals- by then Xavier should be as good as you are at handling a net.
