Technically Rob is still not a flatlander. I hear he just could not quite move into the state but almost. I am sure he is busy getting that store ready. It's going to be a beeeeeeeg store.

Hey yo!!
Yes, I'm still a Cheesehead!! But a good strong stone's throw and I could be an Illini.
The new Gander Mtn. store is shaping up to be one heck of a store. Can't wait to have the doors open!

Rob is just so preoccupied with getting the new store opened up that he forgot to mention that there is a $250 gift certificate waiting for the first 250 registered MuskieFirst members!
Great idea Rob! This will get the store humming with activity in no time!

Hey Rob-

I was born and raised in Milwaukee and shopped at Gander Mtn. All the time!!! Moved to KY in '93 and there are NO GOOD SPORTING GOODS STORES HERE!!!!! Tell your bosses there is a perfect market for a Gander in Louisville, KY.

Best of luck to you w/ the New store!!

I think the trend is to start heading down further south as the years progress. The store is really coming together, I'll make some posts on things going on as I hear them.

Handy,
No Harleys here, but there will be ATV's (1st for Gander), kayaks and canoes and small boats. Today, they put up one of those interactive shooting galleries like you've seen at amusement parks. Where you plug in a quarter and shoot an air gun. It's a cool setup!
Also for the hunters, over 3500 guns in stock!
