| Just ordered this reel in the 6.3:1. According to their website they do not offer the Leftys with a Power Handle. I tried contacting Daiwa and have not heard back as to whether I can get one or not. Wondering if anyone knew and if not what aftermarket powerhandle is the best. This reel will primarily be used for 10s.

| I called Daiwa a month or so ago and asked about the power handle for this exact situation. At the time I was still going back and forth between the 300 and 400. This is the info I was told:
Lexa 300 Power Handle: 700-8450 $26.50 In-stock
Lexa 400 Power Handle: 700-8530 $16.16 Available ~ June
He told me since the 400 is still pretty new, the power handles haven't been mass produced or something along those lines. He said they should become available sometime in June.
He also told me that the 400 handle "should" fit on the 300.....crazy idea but hey, why not try it?! |

If the 400 will fit on the 300, put a 300 on a 400. |

| Anyone know the handle lengths for the 400? My sense is that the paddle handle and power handle are about the same, in terms of leverage, but can't find any specifics. |

On the Lexa 400 both the paddle handle and the single power handle is 120mm long. |

Most handles can be used on both right and left hand reels, maybe daiwa has something differed ????? |

| I think they are probably the same. I think that they were not offering them with all of the left handed models. From what I gathered with the so many new reels coming out they did not have the ability/quantity to sell them seperately. Not sure though, this is just what I have gathered. |

| Why????? would you remove a xlg Paddle Handle on a Lexa 400, only to put on a Power handle that is the same size. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I agree that the regular paddle handle is very nice, but some like the shape and larger size of the knob on the power handle. When I'm really ripping big baits, my hand seems to slip off a "power" handle less, and I feel like I get a better grip on a power handle for hard pulling baits too.
With that said, I'm not sure if it would be worth the cost to upgrade the handle on the 400 Lexa or not. The regular double paddle is pretty nice. |
