Hello,
I have been reading this message board for about a year, but never posted. I love it. Not only is it informative, but it is very entertaining.

Anyway, I recieved the new cabelas catalog last Friday, and looking through it, I ran across the "Jaws" jerk/crank from land o' lakes. I love that lure. I do believe that lures are as much for the fisherman as they are for the fish. I wish more lure makers would have fun with their paint schemes. I would pay extra for some fun looking lures. They would look as good hanging on my wall as they would hanging from my leader.

I have some custom baits with interesting things written on the bottom under the clear coat by the builder, like "bite me". Hasn't caused much of a ruckus with the fish.

Hey, "Bite me" is good, how about "Eat me". It is sort of like airmen writing messages on a bomb before they drop it. Actually, with all of the messages that you get on a cup of coffee, (caution contents may be hot!) I am surprised that it is not required to have a warning label on a suick, "Caution hooks may be sharp!" or "Caution, biting lure may cause hooks to become embedded in jaw!"
