does anyone make a wooden version of the old Creek Chub 8" Jointed Pikie ?? I think Creek Chub still makes a plastic version , but I'm not interested ------- thanks -------- jim

I have a few ccpikies here. we run leaders 5fters. they still catch fish.

Old wooden Pikies are actually about as cheap or cheaper than new musky baits. Check on antique tackle shows in your area or ebay. The most common colors are pike, perch, red and white, silver flash and a few others. You can buy these with glass eyes in decent condition for under $20 and sometimes much less.

Very hard to get, Jerry Minteer, or Jim Ferris make the best pikies available. They are out of PA.

Check out Mike Fixters jointed Pikies, he is a west coast guy where they use them in surf casting. I have one, it is beyond well made, highly collectible also.
