Does it have a fishable population of muskies? If so does it favor casters or trollers?

Thanks in advance, Larbo

I am out there twice a year. My friend runs a walleye and bass charter out of there. They do pick up a few every season snatching up walley as they get reeled in but I don't think ther is a fishable population yet. I do however think that the southwestern basin of Erie has the potential to be the next big musky bite. lake St. Claire and the river are loaded with musky as we all know. Plenty of forage and lots of structure in that part of the lake. Could be a must destination in the future but don't think so now. If and when this happens I am sure trolling will be the most effective way to target them.

Live in the area and no it doesn't. Wish it did though.

I fished out of Grand River never heard or saw any caught. Lots of Walleyes on Michigan Stinger Spoons off Dipsys
