Wednesday's at 5pm to 9pm. Smokeys Muskie Shop. $10 per person. Winner take all. But winner buys a round of drinks. Great weekday league.

Wish I could fish it but I guide every Tue, Wed, Thursday during the week from 5pm to 10pm.

Great bunch of muskie nuts fish it every week. Casting only. But can run a sucker also. So two lines per person. No trolling.

Thanks for the info. Can't wait. Is it biggest fish or total inches if multiples are caught?

I've never done anything like this before.

Is it

a). Something you have to commit to ahead of time, showing up most every week?
b). Something you can do as often or as little as you like, but register or sign up ahead of time?
c). Something you can just show up to some Wednesday if the opportunity is there and be welcomed by the group?

Might give it a try if its the latter of the three.

Thanks,

PJV

Really good time. Only had time to fish 3 or maybe 4 of these last year, but this year I've already told myself to make it a weekly thing. Good bunch of folks, some dynamite sticks and overall a worthwhile time to be on the water.

Good time....come on out. There are going to be some changes from talking to Tom. If I remember 26 anglers was the biggest turnout I remember it because I split the pot with a 37"r. A good integrity league.

Weds. night musky league will have some changes. Like last year, it will be one line per angler, no trolling or live bait. This year the longest weekly musky wins. $10 per angler. Sign up at Smokies before fishing which starts at 5pm. Many fish 3 guys per boat. A picture on a bump board along with the angler holding fish is required. If no fish are caught, half the money will be raffled to entrants showing up at Smokies after. I will hold balance (if any)until year end and split it between largest fish and most individual inches caught. In the past we have cancelled league at the commissioners discretion (me)when the water gets to hot in summer. I will post clear rules here and at Smokies before season starts.

Weds night Pewaukee musky league will begin Weds 5/7 5-8:30pm based out of Smokies Musky Shop. One line per angler, no live bait, no trolling. $10 per entrant, biggest musky over 30" wins all. DNR rules apply and immediate release is mandatory. If there's a tie, the pot will be split. A picture on a bump board and a hold shot is required. Use your cell phone. Sign in at Smokies with your cell phone # and email. You will be given a particular colored piece of paper to have in pics. In the event that no fish are caught, we will raffle half the money 30 minutes after fishing ends(must be present). The other half goes into an end of year pot to be split between biggest fish and most individual inches in the form of Smokies gift certificates. Launching at Smokies is recommended, usually plenty of cheap parking on Wednesdays. Some people sign in after 5 and have plenty of time to score. A small board of directors will be selected on 5/7 to back the commissioner should there be any drama during the season and we can vote on any minor rules changes as well. The winner is expected to buy a round at Smokies after fishing. If this gets to big(over 18 boats) we will have to cap it in some way, giving priority to regular attendees. This is an individual format that allows some to fish 3 per boat(we split winnings within our boat to insure quality net jobs LOL ). Results will not be posted anywhere but records will be recorded for the end of year awards. I will try to run a small June and possibly a Sept. Saturday tournament capped at 18 boats with priority given to Weds. night attendees. In the past, we have cancelled league due to high water temps and will extend fishing hours as the days get longer. My apologies if I missed any details. A big thanks to the folks at Smokies for staying open later on Wednesdays.

It was slow 23 fisherman only 2 fish caught. Unfortunately I caught one of them 20 minute before the start of the league. The windy weather and cold water temps probably was the reason for the slow action. 80 degs yesterday and warm all week so the action should improve by next Wednesday. Come on out and fish as it was great to see everyone after a long cold winter. Again thanks to John at Smokies for having us and to the employees (Ron or Rick) who work a little longer on this night.

Anxious to see everyone tomorrow night! Looks like a break in the weather, albeit cold, no rain is a plus. Game on at 5 PM tomorrow can almost taste a cold one afterwards right now!

29 guys showed up to fish last night. It was a little bit cool out there and other than a couple lost fish reported, out of 29 guys, no one caught a fish in the 3.5 hours of fishing... James Formolo and I each saw one a piece, that was it.

Cold front, East wind and the storms early in the week.....excuses are great! Pour somemore. It was ok though as we saw a couple of fish and I got my son out with us.
Quality time......

Hopefully I can join a few times this summer.

I saw lots of rigs at Smokeys. Wife and I had dinner at the Waterfront. I wanted to get out, but we had a contractor out to the house quoting a project.

Hopefully I can get out one of these weeks. Looked like a great evening to be on the water.

Weds night Pewaukee musky league will begin Weds 5/6/15 5-8:30pm based out of Smokies Musky Shop. One line per angler, no live bait, no trolling. $10 per entrant, biggest musky over 30" wins all. A picture on a bump board and a hold shot are required with the secret card in pic(will be handed out at 4:45). Cell phone pics are acceptable. Sign in at Smokies with your cell phone #. Had a great time last night, I believe three fish were caught, one team doubling and one with a 41. I got a northern that was around 30" and that was all we got in our boat of three amigos.

Great time as always, looking forward to fishing a bunch of these this summer.

Anyone know the results of league last night? Haven't been on the water for a week. I'm heading out to Pewaukee tonight with my 11yr old and would really love to put him on his first fish during our MCW league night. Anyone have any pointers for us? Thanks in advance for anything you're willing to share.

Hey all, I'm new the Milwaukee area. Would love to get out fishing next spring and be a part of this league. Any boaters out there looking for an extra guy to have in the boat? I have equipment, but I am boat less due to my move.
