I've got one and love it. I just the the Jr before and that was nice to keep all of my tools organized and handy in the front of the boat.

The Sr makes it really nice to have those 5-10 lures you will most likely be using most of the day in the front of the boat and handy. That way when you want to change up, you have all your go-to baits right under you. You could also just use that and leave your big tackle box at home when you know you are only going to use a few lures on your outing which can save a lot of room in the boat.

From my experience, Lakewood has great quality products. They also sponsored our fishing team in college and were great to work with.

I believe Encase makes a similar product. You can't go wrong with either one though!

Bucky, Already talked to Bob and I am getting a deck box made from him. Looked at his pedestal box but I like the Lakewood pedestal because of the pockets on the side. Have the jr model now and will move that to the rear pedestal seat. Wondering if the size of the Lakewood sr bothered you. Did you find yourself tripping over it?

Sounds like you have a pretty nice set up. No, I never feel like my Pedestal Sr is in the way. It doesn't stick out too much further than the actual seat itself.

Without it, my casting platform becomes a minefield of treble hooked musky lures, which I think get in the way and hurt way worse than if you bump your ankle on the Pedestral Sr here and there.

I like mine although, I had to re glue some of the dividers shortly after I bought it. Hopefully they are using a little more now...
