| Hey guys,
I know there is a dichotomous love/hate relationship with the newer, backward facing triggers on the sling blades, big nasty, and big dawgs. I'm wondering if sone of you can give your reasons, either way before I take the dive into such a big purchase.
Thanks! |

Location: Wisconsin | It feels a bit strange at first as you "hunt" for the trigger with your fingers out of habit, but after a short while I really have come to like it. In fact I like it so much I would like to upgrade my other LT rods that have the trigger to the palm style.
I know some guys don't like it but I sure do! |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | It is really nice for long days or trips because the trigger won't rub between your fingers. I am converting all of my rods over to the new legend rods because of the trigger. |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | It only bothers me for a minute when changing rods from one of my other LT's with the original reel seat. Of course when I change from the new to the old it takes a minute to get comfortable with the original version. |

| I agree with the above, much more comfortable to use. I've started doing all my rods with this trigger and considering converting some of my old customs to the new reel seat, I like it so much. |

I like both triggers, easier to hold on to the heavier rods with the back facing trigger though. |

Location: Michigan | I don't like it at all, but that is probably because I grab the the rod by the fore grip and don't palm the reel. |
