Location: Northwest WI | I have 2 of them, an 8' and a 9'. I bought them for the same reason you're looking at them...but in my case they were impulse purchases because of very low pricing.
They're part of a larger mix of musky rods in my garage including St. Croix, Tackle Industries and Musky Innovations.
I've used them on and off for several years and have no complaints. They're a bit heavier than my St. Croix and TI rods, but not as bad as other brands that I've used...and shed.
