There is alot more that goes into doing shows than most people think. Preparation for the next year, many times starts before the current years events end. Its just part of operating a business. Kyle I will call you tomorrow.

I don't know about Saric doing a show, but the Milwaukee show guy announced he is doing the Chicago show next year. It will be held at the Sears Center.

Pointer, your wrong, he will medal in the 400 yard dash.

the sears center will be a neat venue. We go there to see slaughter arena football games. The VIP section is a nice big bar area. Any chance of getting the slaughter cheerleaders for the show?

I will go is depends on what they have! How many booths, companies, cost to enter, etc. Two show on the same weekend is not good!

Jay Garstecki and Doug Reuter just completely gutted the potential sale value of Steve Statland's Tri-Esox show. Who will want to buy a show facing that kind of a divided market on the same weekend?
Business has to be about the bottom line, but this still isn't the friendliest move in the world. Jay's doing nice things for veterans, Doug's done a fine job promoting the Milwaukee expo, and Steve's run a great show in Chicago for a long time while being a huge supporter of Muskies Inc. Clearly they have been in some negotiations, and it would have been nice to see a resolution that was more amicable.

All of the main vendors that I talked to at the Milwaukee show were going to switch to the new venue at the Sears Center....The Chicago show used to be a giant show when they spent money on advertising but it has steadily been going down hill year after year, and that is pathetic considering how many Muskie angler's there are in the Chicago area....This new show will be well advertised, will have playoff football games televised on big screens, beer for sale, and just an overall better experience for the consumer....The only reason the shows are the same week is that is the only week that they can get the Sears Center in the month of January and they did not want to try to do it in another month because then it would be in conflict with other shows across the country like Ohio, Milwaukee, Minnesota, and many others...
