Location: Minneapolis, MN | My girlfriend won a trip to Naughty Pines Fish Camp on the English River System just west of Ear Falls. There are Walleye, Pike, and MUSKIE!! I am not able to go to Canada so I told her I'd post this to see if anyone is interested. There is one catch, the certificate is only for one person but party reservations must be at least two people. Estimated cost for the additional person is $850 (USD). The certificate says that a cottage, boat, fuel, bait and transportation from the pickup point are provided. The certificate is transferrable. I don't think that there are any other limitations (I could be wrong) or "catches" for the trip. If anyone is interested, email me for more info.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Steve, the camp owner, gives those out like candy. It IS a great trip, and worth the approximate $450 per man for sure. There are not alot of muskies there, but the quality is VERY good, and trophy potential high. Big big pike are common, and walleyes are really easy. The system is pretty much devoid of other fishermen, too. I have been there three times, enjoying every trip.

| Slayer, I don't want to ruin anything for you, but this certificate is worthless. I think just about everybody that attended an All-Canada show has "won" one of these from Naughty Pines. Figure it out. You are free, but you must bring another guest at a cost of $850, and that is for housekeeping. Not such a good price, if you shop around. I don't remember what the boats were exactly, but 14' with a 9.9 HP rings a bell.

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I here ya loud and clear! I just assumed it was a good deal because she got one and I didn't. But then again I never win anything, even if I have to pay for it. Yeah, not exactly free. I have not price checked others so I wasn't sure if it was a good deal (@ $450 apeice). Now I know. Thanks.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I have been there three times, and found the camp to be just fine. The cabins I stayed in were not 10X 10 at all, but they weren't the Radisson, either. this is a remote camp that is off the beaten path. Of course the gas is expensive, it is brought in by boat, and is sold to you in Canada. $450 for a week isn't expensive, but isn't cheap, either. By the way, there are several Tuffy 18' boats there for use at the camp. The fishing is good, and the food better if one is in a group or wants that plan. I ran my own boat the times I was there, which wasn't a problem. It IS a bit exciting running the river up to the lodge, though.
