Anyone use one or have any pics of a setup in your boat for some sort of telescopic pole for an above the boat view. Where did you find it or did you make it from home?

Menards and Home Depot sells aluminum extensions for paint rollers in their painting department. The one I have says "Mr. Long Arm" on the side. Pretty inexpensive too.

how high do you want to go ? I have a weather station on my garage I used a tv antenna extension go to your local hardware store they should be able to help you out

Yeah plenty of telescopic poles out there. Just walk in to any Menards or Home Depot and ask for a telescoping pole. You'll find something. The tough part is mounting the pole in the boat, and setting it up so you can easily install it and take it down while driving between spots.

If you are mounting it to your boat, what about one of those adjustable flag pole holders? For hand holding one of those docking poles works great.
