Can anyone suggest some paints and sealers for plastic and wood lures?

Any kind of paint works as long as you epoxy coat over the top. Try to stay with enamels, do not use latex over oil base paints. Finish with envirotex over the top, good to go. If you are starting with new wood use a good sealer first.

I use Createx paints through an airbrush. You can get these at Hobby Lobby and I think Dixie Art.com. I also use envirotex. It's really tough.

Good luck.

whichever one you paint try to paint your first color on while prime coat is still tacky. I have found it bonds better and less chance to peel. Also on wood baits try giving them just a very lite spray od water. This opens up the grain or pores and prime coat grabs better. This is for sure on hardwoods not balsa or bass wood, those get like a fur on them if you do this.
