Yep, pretty cool stuff. The figure 8's seemed to be able to use a little work though...

Looks like lots of action. I'm jealous of some of the equipment.

Does anybody else feel that their own fish handling techniques are better than what's shown in 90% of videos posted?

Sorry, maybe I shouldn't be posting on yet another snowy Monday.

I like the video at this time of year. Good to see some boat side action...

I with you guys as well, you all make good and valid points Tooth, Randy and Curly. I would like to get a GoPro and video myself for a few reasons. One, just cuz they are fun to watch! Two, to critic myself to be sure I am doing eights and hooksets as best as possible, and handling the fish as good as I think I do! But, still an entertaining video for the middle of winter!!

I use to coach high school football and the kids thought they were great. Tape never lies. Show'em the good, bad and ugly...

Just to clarify these are not my videos and I'm not sure whose they are. I do agree with you guys that the video makers could apply better fish handling techniques, but outside of that I found the video extremely entertaining

Yes, it definitely is great especially in the midst of a winter storm! I enjoyed watching, that is for sure.

Was not too bad. Gotta wonder if you need to bump board every fish?

I found their boat much to clean & clutter free for my liking.

Why not bump every fish? it takes 2 seconds and hurts nothing.

Did I need to know the fish was 43"? Did the measurement add anything to the video? Not saying he hurt the fish. If you want to bump every fish for the rest of your life I credit you for your accuracy honesty and dedication to documentation.

I like to know how big they are I have been surprised both ways and in most videos where they bump the big fish it tells me the others were not as big as i had thought. The magic of a good camera man can do great things

I agree.  I also thought they caught too many fish and captured too much good footage on camera.  I now feel the need to post something negative to point out my jealousy.

Cool video. Nobody is perfect. The vertical holds were quick to get on and off the bump board. Only thing I would not care for is my partner putting a throwback bait into a fish I just raised but I am sure they were cool wih it which is fine.

Watched it with my young boys. They are jacked up for the coming season. When he grabbed his throwback lure I shouted out "Nooo! He's going to snipe his buddy's fish! What a jerk!" 10 year old then asks, "What lure is that?", I say "Jerk bait" not even thinking. They laughed and laughed. Now they think any lure that you throw when you are sniping a follow is a 'jerk' bait.
